Halloween 5k & Family Event
They did the dash...they did the monster dash..it was a Crosslake smash!
On Saturday, October 24th the Crosslake Parks and Recreation Department will host the 6th annual Crosslake Monster Dash. The event will feature a 5K fun run/walk and the Children's Spirit Sprint. The 5k for 2015 will be chip timed.
Participants will receive a Monster Dash long sleeved shirt. Prizes will be awarded for age divisions and there will be random prize drawings along with prizes for the best costumes.
The Monster Dash is one of the few events you'll find that offers supervision of 4-10 year olds while the parent or gurdian participates in the race.
After the race at noon the Crosslake Park Department will offer the largest children's Halloween party in the Brainerd Lakes Area. Come spend the day in beautiful Crosslake.
All runners, walkers and volunteers are encouraged to wear a costume to the event to guarantee a festive atmosphere.
All proceeds from the Monster Dash will support the 501c(3) PAL Foundation of Crosslake (Parks & Library).

5k Entry Fees:
$25 before October 15th*
$30 After October 15th
Kids Spirit Sprint:
$15 before October 15th*
$20 After October 15th
(Childrens fee includes race, t-shirt, refreshments, and supervised activities. It does NOT include a 5k registration)
*Registrations received on or before October 15th will be guaranteed a commemorative race shirt.
